Get Involved with the HRG&SP!
There are many ways to get involved with the HRG&SP. Each of our productions needs talented and eager actors, staff members, and orchestra musicians. If you think you might want to get involved or have any questions, please contact us!
Here are some of the ways you can get involved with an HRG&SP production:
Cast:
Pirates, Japanese schoolgirls, guards at the Tower of London, Venetian gondolieri, fairies — the operettas of GIlbert & Sullivan have them all. And they sing! Our casts are generally made up of Harvard undergraduates, but are open to all college students and recent graduates in the Cambridge and Boston areas. Click here for more information.
Staff:
It takes almost a hundred people, in all sorts of fields, to put up an HRG&SP show. We welcome anyone who wants to get involved. In most cases, no previous experience is required. Click here to learn more about joining our show staffs.
Orchestra:
The HRG&SP Orchestra is a dedicated group of musicians who revel in the joy and rapture of Gilbert & Sullivan shows. Not your average pit orchestra, our members return semester after semester. Find out more.
Board:
Board Elections happen twice a year during the run of each semester's show. Anyone who has been involved in an HRG&SP production in any capacity is qualified and strongly encouraged to apply. For more information about this process, please email the president.
